Sand Casting - The sand casting process is capable of pouring castings from ounces to tons and has very economical tooling and casting prices. The process can cast all air melt alloys both ferrous and non-ferrous. Sand castings are the least dimensionally accurate of the casting processes and have the roughest surface finish.
